Going through a traumatic experience can be deeply isolating. When the world feels unsafe, it makes sense to pull back. And, if we get stuck in that spot, we can end up feeling disconnected from our Self, body, and others. Sex and intimacy can become particularly challenging as our minds and bodies activate protective circuits, even when we wish they didn’t. That is where having a kind, attuned helper who centers your voice and honors your agency can make all the difference. I aim to be someone who gets to know you deeply. In particular, I listen for how the words we use mesh with our tone of voice and how we say them. I use curiosity around these different pieces to guide us to explore and find the clearest version of what you’re experiencing. From there, I can help you express it and get the responsiveness you deserve. You deserve to be seen, understood, and accepted. What you feel matters, and I will come alongside you with openness and curiosity to help you have the lived experience that “somebody else really gets it.” I will match your authenticity and provide resources and options to make a difference. Change is possible, it can get better.
