Feeling the weight of anxiety, depression, stress, or other issues life throws our way can be overwhelming. Being offered support to help guide us through these heavy issues is something that many individuals can benefit from. Over the course of our therapeutic relationship, we will work on fine tuning the skills necessary to face the various issues we encounter. These skills include (but are not limited to) challenging our automatic negative thoughts, exploring exceptions to the issues that we face, examining thought and behavior patterns, and discovering effective mindfulness coping strategies. I believe that a strong, genuine connection is a powerful agent of change, which is why I utilize a person-centered therapeutic approach along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) interventions. Using CBT and SFT, I help clients focus on adjusting negative thought patterns and progressing towards treatment goals. Your time in therapy will be accommodated with a safe, secure space to speak freely and privately, along with a warm, understanding, and empathetic counselor. The process of enrolling in therapy is overwhelming in itself, so reading this far is already a positive step in the process of change! Thanks for taking the time to read my bio!
