Embarking on the path of healing is a profound journey, and I am honored at the prospect of accompanying you along this transformative route. My name is Keva and I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) my passion lies in working with children, adolescents and adults aged 4-23 who have navigated through trauma. I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, to help children explore their emotions, understand body regulation, and discover healthier coping mechanisms. I also work with families and couples. Everyone is unique, and I enjoy incorporating creative approaches tailored to meet each client's needs. Specializing in trauma, domestic violence, and self-esteem, my focus is on providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to find their voice, even in the midst of what may feel like a daunting experience. My approach is rooted in non-judgment, active listening, and an empathetic presence, as I strive to create an environment conducive to healing. Pursuing my PhD and working towards licensure in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Registered Play Therapy (RPT), I am dedicated to enhancing my skills to better serve the community. My ultimate goal is to instill hope, encouragement, support, and empowerment in my clients, guiding them towards becoming the best version of themselves.
