Hello, my name is Kensey and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I attended West Texas A&M University where I studied psychology and fell in love with human behavior. I have always known throughout my life I wanted to help people in some way. Later, I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University in 2022. The main approaches I like to use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy which is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, as well as anger, and impulsivity. My communication style is very casual, and I look forward to getting to know you and assisting you with your journey to change. Everyone in this world can benefit from counseling. I have always had a passion for helping others. I want to help you help yourself on the journey to change.
