Some of my specialties include working with LGBTQ+ adults, couples, and polyamorous relationships; counseling related to sexual orientation, the "coming out" process, reconciling religious wounds, and other LGBTQIA+ issues. I also provide support with gender identity and mental health concerns for trans & gender non-conforming adults. I offer help in coping with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and other mood disorders; as well as substance abuse treatment for adults with drug or alcohol problems, and sexual or other compulsive behaviors. I have a non-judgmental and secular approach, and utilize various evidence-based methods, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), somatic and art therapies, psychodrama, music and narrative therapy, and much more. All parts of you are welcome and accepted! As an openly queer therapist, and part of the community myself, I offer more than just acceptance, but also the perspective of someone who has not only education, knowledge, and training, but genuine life experience.
