About

Hi, I’m Kendra— a quirky, affirming, clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with all ages in my career, but find I highly enjoy working with Gen Z and Millenials in navigating the unique stressors faced by these generations. Specifically I love helping individuals with life transitions, living as their authentic selves, and navigating the effects of trauma. I also specialize in LGBTQ+ related issues, and severe depression that includes symptoms of suicidality and self-harm. I particularly enjoy working with clients that have tried other therapies without success.

I consider myself an eclectic therapist and like to cater my approach to my clients’ individual needs. I am not a “one size fits all” therapist. I have over 40 hours of intensive training in DBT and find myself using this approach often. I also enjoy CBT, expressive arts, and client-centered therapies. I also specialize in positive parenting techniques.

I pride myself on providing a truly non-judgmental space for healing. My goal is to challenge you and hold you accountable to meet your goals, while also providing the necessary tools and support to help you be successful and thrive. If you think we’d be a good fit, please reach out! Please note that I am telehealth only at this time. Email is best contact.
