When I became a counselor I decided that I wanted to understand others suffering and value them as a whole person. Part of my core belief is that each facet of your life and self contribute to your overall health. In the counseling process, I try to explore with you all parts of self and integrate them to restore balance and help you to achieve your goals. I believe humans are meaning-making creatures and my therapeutic approach comes from that existentialist perspective. In the counseling process, I explore with you freedom and responsibility, anxiety, and identity. I specialize with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and attachment and couples work. By hearing you and validating your experience I hope we can create a space together where greater congruency, clarity, and meaning can occur for you.
