About

I work with adults coping with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and/or complex family systems and stressors. I often work with adults whose anxiety and worry in the present is rooted in well-practiced coping strategies to get through difficult early life experiences or family dynamics. My clients are often high-achievers (many times perfectionists) who are highly skilled at taking care of everyone and everything but themselves and struggle in private. They often appear to "have it all together" while facing a harsh inner critic day in and out.

I enjoy supporting people to identify and name how they cope, while gently examining what needs to change through approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT skills and ACT. My approach is warm, compassionate, authentic, relational and direct. I value providing a tailored therapy experience that aligns with my clients' expectations and goals.

It can be overwhelming to take the first step, but I am here to help you formulate a plan to feeling better. You don't have to figure it all out on your own. Change is possible, and there is so much strength and resilience in you. I would love to support you in whatever your goals for therapy may be.
