Kelli Rivelli has over 20 years of experience providing counseling, support and psychoeducation. She holds licenses in both social work and substance abuse and works with her clients by serving as a guide to help gain a better understanding of their thought processes and behaviors and to explore different and healthier ways of coping. She has a passion for helping to build self-awareness and self-empowerment to improve both relationships within self as well as with others. Kelli especially enjoys working with issues such as anxiety, communication, and self-acceptance. She utilizes a holistic lens during treatment allowing her to develop individualized plans to help identify goals and effective means of change. To do this, Kelli draws from a variety of treatment methods and interventions including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, solution focused, acceptance and commitment and narrative therapies. She describes herself as an interactive clinician; providing feedback, reflection and encouragement- and some humor along the way. Kelli believes that the most productive therapeutic relationships are built on trust and strives to create a genuine, safe and welcoming environment.
