About

Unfortunately, painful events in life are inevitable. The good thing is that suffering from these events can be optional. Helping people to build or rebuild a life with a new "normal" through these difficult times is something I have enjoyed doing for almost 25 years. I have had the privilege of working with people by addressing a variety of issues including substance abuse and other addictions, co-occurring disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, divorce, unresolved grief, co-dependency, and anger management to name a few. Together, we can restore the peace, serenity and confidence back in your life.

I have been trained in using EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat both mental health and substance use disorders. I am also a court approved provider for substance abuse and co-occurring evaluations and treatment. I accept most insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare and court vouchers.

I get addressing issues can be hard and even scary at times and I believe the people who seek help are some of the most courageous people. I believe in developing a therapeutic relationship by using strategies that are individualized for you and helping you identify and build your personal strengths in a place that is safe, confidential, and supportive.
