Couples and individuals I support often say they feel like they’ve "lost themselves" in their relationship(s). They feel like they have become roommates, communication is "non-existent," and at times aren’t even sure who they are anymore. Couples and individuals who see me benefit from learning concrete communication skills in the context of each partner's unique backgrounds and personalities, while doing so in a safe space with the support of a third party (me!). My clients explore patterns of codependency, the role anxiety can play systemically, and are willing to slow themselves down to learn about their role in the relationship. I help couples who want to reconnect after difficult life transitions or when they feel disconnected sexually due to differences in desire levels. Many of my clients find themselves laughing, crying, and talking about hard things all in the same session. I give "homework" after most sessions encouraging you to continue work outside of our appointments. If you feel like you've lost yourself in the midst of your partner or life in general, change and healing can start here. Don't continue struggling on your own- you deserve support and healing guided by an empathetic third party trained in supporting relationships and growth.
