Looking for a therapist is HARD, so I'm going to get straight to the point. I might be a good therapist for you if any of the following fit: 1) you have experienced trauma and it is getting in the way of living your life fully, 2) you've had years of talk therapy, but aren't seeing the change that you want in your life, 3) you can't help feeling like you are both "too much" and "not enough" at the same time, 4) you were the "sensitive" or "emotional" one in your family, 5) you hate feeling misunderstood or misinterpreted, and yet this seems to keep happening to you, 6) you struggle to find time for your own interests or self-care. I became certified in EMDR because I believe it is the most natural and efficient way to make lasting change. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing is not just for trauma. We all adapt based on our lived experiences. EMDR can help you grieve and release painful moments from your past, leaving you feeling more at ease and authentically you. I have worked in this field since 2006 and I love what I do! I especially enjoy working with other therapists and healers, LGBTQIA+ folx, people with visible or invisible disabilities, people working toward body liberation/social justice, agnostics and atheists, and people in kink/poly communities. Contact me and we can chat to see if I'm a good fit for you.
