About

Noam Shpancer, once stated, “Mental health is not a destination, it’s a journey. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” As humans, we are all on our own mental health journey, though some may experience more hills, curves, and bumps in the road than others. Whether overcoming poverty, battling substance use, trauma, anxiety, or depression and despair, you are not alone. With deep knowledge of the human psyche, a keen awareness of societal pressures throughout the lifespan, and a strong heart for helping others, I would be honored to guide you throughout your mental health journey.

I provide virtual Telehealth therapy services to clients of all ages. I accept Medicaid and most private insurances. I am experienced with using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches.

I strive to help clients reduce their stress, improve their self-awareness, process their past traumas, and develop appropriate skills to overcome their future challenges toward living a happier, healthier life. Call New Hope Counseling today at 502-712-9604.
