About

We thrive as humans when we understand ourselves. I work creatively and compassionately with adults and adolescents to deepen and broaden self-understanding. Emotional pain - like physical pain - is a signal that help is needed and that something must change. Psychotherapy can be that powerful catalyst for healing. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening intently, and co-creating a safe and brave space where my clients can grow.

My extensive post-graduate training enables me to offer a productive approach. I am a graduate of the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. I completed a two-year clinical internship at St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute's Schiele Clinic and a one-year academic and clinical residency at Care & Counseling.

I work well with people looking to make sense of their lives. As an artist and writer, I bring a lived experience of the creative process - which we will engage in together even if you don't personally identify as an artist. As a former corporate attorney, I am organized and analytical and will work with you to identify issues, stuck points, and strengths.
