Katie works with a variety of mental health concerns while specializing in relational issues, identity exploration, body image concerns, and complex trauma/PTSD with an emphasis on domestic and sexual violence. She uses an array of evidence-based approaches including Relational-Cultural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and works with adults. She is passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space that leads to personal healing, growth, and empowerment by instilling hope and utilizing the client’s strengths. Katie believes her role as a counselor is to act as a source of support while ultimately meeting clients where they are in their journey towards living authentically.
