Through my career I have worked with a variety of individuals dealing with many different issues. I have worked with all ages and all stages of life. I have found that, regardless of life stage or difficulty a person is facing, meeting the person where they are is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I am passionate about creating an environment in which my clients feel comfortable being vulnerable so that they can best work towards their goals. The majority of my clinical experience has been working with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is strengths-based and focuses both on the individual and their environment. Each client is their own life expert, so I enjoy working with each individual on their goals and how they can best accomplish those goals. I utilize aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, and mindfulness. As a therapist, I view mental health as something that is both individualized and fluid. No two people are the same, and no one person’s mental health remains the same throughout their entire life. Due to this, therapy should also be both individualized and fluid. If you are ready to see positive change in your life, reach out and schedule an appointment.
