I am currently accepting new clients, in person and online! Realizing that help is needed and reaching out can be difficult. I hope to make this process easier. As a primary therapist at CBT Minneapolis-St Paul, I focus on teaching good thinking habits and using cognitive behavioral tools to help adults and adolescents on issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief/loss. I also enjoy working with people that are dealing with life transitions, have relationship concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, parents who are struggling with their children, mothers dealing with postpartum mood issues, and individuals who are experiencing tinnitus. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Michigan University in 2014 and since that time have worked in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings where I provided evidence-based therapy to a wide variety of people. In my CBT training, I have particularly emphasized working with people with depression and trauma. I take a culturally-informed approach to therapy and have experience delivering care to individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as those from the LGBTQIA+ community. I use a client-centered approach to care and will always collaborate with you on your treatment goals and needs. I look forward to helping you.
