It is important to Katie that the therapeutic space feels safe and inviting. Katie will work to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with her clients, assist them with increasing their understanding and awareness of presenting challenges, and establish goals to work towards in therapy. Katie takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, and integrates modalities in treatment that best suit the individual to promote positive, sustainable change. Katie also has a passion for perinatal mental health and takes special care in supporting clients at any stage throughout their journey. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. Katie is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health, PMH-C. Katie attended Hawaii Pacific University where she completed her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University.
