Hello, my name is Kat! I am a licensed therapist who specializes in working with individuals, couples, polycules, and families navigating marginalization. As a black and queer therapist, I deeply understand the challenge of negotiating safe and healthy spaces. Societal pressures towards hyperproductivity, perfectionism and following convention weigh heavy and can make it difficult to find meaning and fulfillment. My mission is to co-create a flexible and daring therapeutic space in which we can explore and embrace the full spectrum of your experiences and needs in a way that feels grounded and liberating. My therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, IFS, relational, and somatic methodologies. More than a set of techniques, my main goal is to be a human alongside you. By deeply exploring patterns, feelings and history (intergenerational and present) we will work together to design strategies to move you towards the life you want. Congratulations on embarking on this transformative journey! Choosing a therapist is hard, and you've already taken the first step towards wellness. I invite you to give me a call, and let's work together to cultivate more joy, peace, and a sense of self-compassion as you navigate the world.
