Growing up in Southeast Alaska, water became a part of my life, whether it was fishing, swimming, or the endless amounts of rain. Even on the stormiest of days the water would always return to being still and calm. Over the years, I have found this to be a metaphor to life and the journeys we have. I use a variety of clinical approaches when working with clients, depending on the need. I frequently use a systems approach, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused. I believe that therapy should be about the client and I adapt my approach to what best suits each client. You can expect a warm and collaborative approach where we work together to meet your needs. If you feel this is what you're looking for, please contact me for more information. I look forward to hearing from you!
