Everyone needs a safe place to express their thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears. Sometimes that means seeking out a professional. Someone who can listen, support, and assist in helping to overcome obstacles or reduce emotional pain. This is my ultimate goal for everyone with whom I work. I have been working in the field of counseling for 18 years and have experience working with a wide variety of individuals. Some need help adjusting to a life change. Others have experienced significant trauma or struggle with suicidal thoughts. Mostly, I am here to meet you where you are at and to help you reach your goals. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My training background is cognitive/behavioral but I work to meet clients where they are at. I have training and experience using DBT, motivational interviewing, EMDR and crisis evaluations all within a compassion and mindfulness approach. As a therapist I am relational oriented. Please feel free to call or email with questions or to set up an appointment. I will respond within 24 hours.
