About

I work with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and trauma. I also see families dealing with Life Transitions including new medical diagnosis, the move of a parent to Long-term care, children leaving home. My clients include military families, as well as married, divorcing or struggling couples. Our work together often includes recognizing grief as a natural process of change and growth. I also provide clinical supervision and consultation services for mental health providers.

I believe that with caring, experienced support, most people can manage symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress caused by trauma. Using an Engendered Psychoanalytic lens to examine thoughts and behaviors that interfere with developing and maintaining good relationships, people are enabled to develop a new perspective more consistent with healing.

My commitment to the healing power of Relationships informs all of my work whether with clients in providing therapy, training graduate students or providing consultation for other therapists. At the Women's Therapy and Learning Center we strive to establish a welcoming and safe environment reflecting that commitment.
