Hello! I'm Kate Bridges, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. My focus areas of practice are grief, loss, adoption, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I treat adults 18 years and older. I will support you with a down-to-earth, approachable treatment, that will support and challenge you, to help meet the goals you wish to achieve in therapy. I center my approach to help support each of my clients with their unique treatment needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative Therapy, and Solution approaches to help support my clients in reaching their goals for treatment. My areas of focus in treatment support adults with life transitions which can cause increased stress and identity issues. Due to stressful life transitions such as work, family dynamics, and caring for an aging parent, medical issues to depression and anxiety can develop. My communication style is person-centered, with a calm, grounding, and caring approach. I want my clients to feel safe with me and know that they can trust me with vulnerable aspects of their lives.
