Reaching out for a therapist is a courageous step on the path to change and personal growth. Oftentimes we are unable to make positive changes in our life because overwhelming emotions, negative thoughts and unproductive behavioral patterns block us from moving forward. Even when we know exactly what to do next, we can find ourselves unable to take the necessary steps to initiate change. My approach to therapy is collaborative, direct and compassionate. We will work together to address and contain your immediate challenges, to process unresolved issues and to help you find a deeper connection with the world around you. My focus with individuals includes reducing anxiety and depression, improving self esteem, navigating life transitions, processing trauma, understanding grief and improving interpersonal relationships. My focus with couples includes parenting challenges, infidelity, emotional estrangement, relational inequities, living with addiction and divorce. If you or someone you love are overcome with emotions, negative thoughts, trauma or an inability to move forward in your life, reach out. Through therapy, we will work together to identify and maximize your strengths and resources and to process the emotions, thoughts and behavioral patterns that are preventing you from living your life to the fullest.
