I am here to help you with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, grief, caregiver stress, and coping with changes in health, family, and work. My perspective is that just about everyone could use the help of a therapist at some point during their lives. Some folks have chronic mental health issues that they need care for at various points. Others are confronted with a trauma, loss, or change that is too much to handle on their own. I have training and experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Grief Disorder Treatment, and Cognitive-Processing Therapy for PTSD. We will decide together what therapy interventions are the best fit for you. In my experience, people often come to therapy when they have tried to make changes on their own but are still feeling “stuck.” My role is to help you move past the stuck feeling. You are the expert on yourself, but I can contribute my expertise in how people move forward and successfully make changes. Reach out today so we can connect and get started!
