About

My first and foremost goal is to create an inviting space where you are able to build on your existing knowledge, skills, and insights with the tools and support I can offer. I work primarily with adults of all ages, and am enthusiastically inclusive of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, orientations, and identities. I am experienced in working with a number of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, identity-related concerns, and responses to a wide array of traumatic experiences. I also have a special focus on eating disorders, including the unique presentations of eating disorders in LGBTQ+ folks.

My practice comes from a place of warmth, curiosity, and mutual collaboration, with a commitment to a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective. You are the expert of your life experience, and it is my job to help you gain insight, to develop new coping skills, and to learn strategies to feel more confident, capable, and prepared to achieve your goals.

I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen and heard exactly as they are in a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental place. You are a vibrant, wonderful, unique individual who has hopes, dreams, and aspirations—and I want to create a space where you feel comfortable beginning (or continuing) your journey towards realizing them.
