Hello! My name is Katie and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and perinatal mental health certified (PMH-C) with over twelve years of experience providing therapeutic services. I specialize in perinatal mental health working with women and families. My areas of focus is women's issues, infertility struggles, pregnancy preparation, postpartum depression and anxiety, grief and bereavement surrounding miscarriage and/or loss and birth traumas. My belief is there is not one therapeutic approach that works for everyone and it's important to draw from a multitude of treatment modalities to meet each person’s unique needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Strengths Perspective are common approaches used. I am just a mom set out on a mission to help other moms. It is important to know you are not alone in your struggles. My clients are the experts of their own life and I feel privileged to walk alongside them during their journey of self-exploration and self-compassion.
