Ideally, therapy has been shown to have the best outcomes when you feel like your therapist gets you. Therapy is a relationship, rather than a set of instructions. My approach is warm, interactive, practical, and empathic, and I draw from relational, feminist, trauma-informed, anti-racist treatment models. I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, along with helping you contextualize your life experiences, honoring your expertise in your own life. I enjoy working with those that are struggling with issues around depression, immigrant identity trauma/issues, mood disorders, and family violence. I am also sex work friendly. Reaching out for help can be overwhelming. I hope to alleviate some of its challenges by creating a supportive, non-judgmental space, as my approach is collaborative and strengths based.
