Trauma comes in many forms. Whether it's the death of a loved one, abuse & violence, DHS involvement, a bad break-up, chronic illness, criminal justice involvement, chemical dependency, or loss of parental rights; experiencing trauma can feel very isolating. You might find yourself feeling detached from others or having difficulty with developing authentic connections with people. Maybe you feel lost and uncertain about how to carry on. Or maybe you're finding yourself lashing out at others with little or no reason. Somedays it can feel like nobody understands your pain or how broken you feel. Depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, explosive anger, relationship problems, and addiction are the natural consequences of trauma. You don't deserve to feel like this. Help and support is available whenever you are ready. I believe it is a privilege and an honor to accompany those I work with along their journey to their most authentic and true self. I find myself in constant awe of the resiliency of the human spirit and the power of family, including chosen family. I strive to empower those I serve to find and develop their strengths in order to make themselves whole again.
