Are you experiencing a great life transition in the perinatal period? This period includes the time spent preconception, pregnancy, and up to 1 year postpartum for all members of the family. I am confident we can identify and relieve the pressures from an overwhelming and complex season. This unique time brings highs and lows unlike any other. Perinatal Mood Disorder (PMAD) can resemble depression, anxiety, OCD or intrusive thoughts and specialized support is necessary for a smooth recovery. I specialize in PMAD treatments with a perinatal mental health certification from Postpartum Support International (PHM-C). View 8 Photos I value an integrated approach to therapy primarily based in Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, & Emotionally Focused Therapy. The integration of these treatment theories understands each client has a whole with thoughts, feelings, and relationships. That’s where we begin. I utilize various tools from other orientations, such as CBT, SFT and Experiential. The relationship between therapist and client is the most meaningful support for achieving change and finding the relief you seek. I am honored you're considering my practice as a place for your hard work. I believe in the power of vulnerability, and I am honored to go there with you. Please reach out and let's see if we're a good fit!
