Katelyn Lane is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in New Hampshire who has been practicing since 2020. As a Social Worker, Katelyn seeks to help people identify and utilize their strengths to get them where they want to go. She is a firm believer that each individual person is the expert of their own life and, therefore, they should guide the therapeutic experience so that it can be a positive and productive time. Katelyn has confidence in the work that you can do together, as a team after developing a collaborative working alliance. She has been trained to practice with a trauma-informed lens. Katelyn utilizes a variety of therapeutic perspectives, including Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She has also had the opportunity to learn how to include spirituality into therapy if desired. With children, Katelyn utilizes play and art therapy to help them express themself. She has experience in utilizing an empowerment perspective and encouraging self-advocacy. Katelyn works with people to acknowledge, process, and connect past, present, and future. This training has prepared her to individualize services based on the person.
