Is your child going through a difficult season? Are you concerned about changes in their mood or behavior? Are you struggling to understand them or unsure of how to respond? As a parent, you can often feel helpless when your child is hurting. Knowing you have support & someone who has their best interest at heart can provide ease to the helplessness you may feel. I’d be honored to partner with you and your child through the counseling process. When working with kids in the playroom, I provide a child-centered approach that allows your child to feel full acceptance, empathy, and understanding from me. This environment gives them the opportunity to process inner experiences and feelings through play. When working with teens, I strive to create an accepting, non-judgemental environment where they can feel heard and understood. I also utilize skill-building to help teens create a “toolbox” of ways to cope with the many difficulties they face.
