About

Focusing primarily on relationships, sexuality and trauma; and starting with the belief that relationships are central to our well-being, I partner with patients to create a warm and safe space in which to explore patterns that impact growth. Therapy is not only to heal past hurts, but also to improve current/future functioning. I see psychotherapy as a joint and dynamic process between patients and clinician. My work is informed by Polyvagal & attachment theories; and pulls from a variety of evidence-based models including mindfulness, narrative therapy, EFT & Gottman approaches, among others. I am trained in EMDR & hypnosis. View 5 Photos

Each individual or couple is unique and will need an individualized approach. Individuals and couples with diverse gender expressions/identities and sexual orientations are welcome and embraced. I work with adult individuals and couples of all ages, with a particular interest in those that are midlife and beyond.

Intensives are available for EMDR and couples counseling - please inquire for fees. Couples Counseling is self-pay only. NC practice has in person and telehealth sessions; SC is telehealth only. Evening and weekend sessions may be available for an additional $50 fee. I have done significant post-MSW training in all of the areas in which I work.
