I am a clinician who strongly believes in the importance of authentic human connection and a feeling of belonging. In today's world, it can feel isolating in both physical & emotional ways, sometimes resulting in unfamiliar/uncomfortable feelings. The good news is that those feelings don't have to be permanent and you are capable of learning coping skills to manage them. My background includes working with diverse populations and age ranges. From those experiences, I draw from a person centered, strength based perspective. I strive to honor who you are, where you've been and what experiences have helped to shape you. I recognize that you are the expert of your life story. Together, we will navigate your goals at a pace you're comfortable with. My approach to building a trusting relationship includes weaving evidence based practices such as but not limited to: motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral skills and humor into our sessions. I work best with individuals who are motivated to examine behavior patterns & have a willingness to be authentic. You finding the right clinician is very important to me. If you're looking for an unbiased perspective & genuine connection where you feel seen and validated, I would be honored to consult with you. Please visit my personal website for more info.
