Now licensed in Alabama, Colorado and Texas! After 13 years of private practice in Colorado, my Alabama office is open! Education & learning new skills are significant components of my approach. I'm relational & easy to talk to about even the most difficult issues of life. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, spiritual & relational issues, & severe mental illnesses, such as bipolar disorder. I am certified in EMDR. Pysch & personality assessments are available to identify strengths & areas for growth. I enjoy working with teens & adults, male or female. I love to renew hope when it seems lost. Many difficulties come from not knowing better ways to respond. "Skills Training" - a major component of treatment - simply means discovering and incorporating different and more effective ways of responding. We only know what we've experienced, so new knowledge and insight can lead to a more enjoyable and productive life. There are many approaches to bring help and peace to tumultuous moments in life. I have much experience in and great hope for working together to find a plan and a path that lead my clients to a better place in life. Even when life looks very dark, there is hope!
