My ideal client is one who is tired of being miserable and desires change. They have a clear vision of how they want their life to be different, and they are ready to do the work to get themselves there. They could struggle with relationships, anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, past hurt, trauma, lying, or with just about anything. The most important thing is that they are tired of being where they are in life, and they are ready to make a change. My passion is to come alongside my clients and assist them in reaching their own goals. I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, which means that in order to change my life, I must first change the way I think about life. I add a Christian perspective to therapy as appropriate to each client. Some clients love the Christian component, so we spend lots of time looking at how faith impacts their lives. Others are not comfortable with the spiritual component, and I respect them by integrating it only as appropriate.
