Karina Garcia treats adults, adolescents, couples and families who have a wide range of presenting problems. I have particular interests in trauma, relationship issues, including couples therapy, mood disorders, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, sexual abuse, ADHD and men's vulnerability. I have specialized training, experience, and interests in the treatment of children with behavior problems and families disrupted by divorce. I also enjoy working with multicultural backgrounds as well as immigrant populations. All services are available in English or Spanish. Through my years as mental health clinician, I have learned that change is not possible in isolation. It would be my privilege to assist in your change/growth process. I offer an eclectic approach to psychotherapy with my background and training in Dr. Bruce Perry's work The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Karina has over 10 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, youth, adults, families, couples and groups. Prior to private practice, Karina worked in Austin, Texas at the Child Advocacy Center of Travis County working with adults and children impacted by a traumatic experience, Austin Travis County Integral Care and the Catholic Family Diocese
