About

I focus on the strengths inherent in each individual, couple, and family. My fundamental belief is that people are innately good and that psychological problems often stem from a rigid or outdated coping system. I stress each individual's growth and the importance of self-actualization. In couples' therapy, there is an emphasis on learning to listen to the emotional truth of the other, while gaining greater authenticity in expressing one's own truth. Through genuine appreciation of one another, couples can learn to re-create, or perhaps experience for the very first time, true understanding, connection, joy and love.

Individualized therapy is an inner journey of self-exploration, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-expression. As a warm, kind, interactive therapist, I will work with you to reach your specific goals for yourself.

Couples therapy is a process of developing relational intimacy, creating trust, building connection, and enjoying the happiness a healthy relationship with a primary significant offer can provide. The formation and maintenance of a healthy relationship with an intimate partner can provide numerous physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health benefits.
