About

For over a decade, I have worked with individuals struggling with a wide range of difficulties and acuity, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and personality disorders. I work particularly well with clients struggling with chronic worry, anxiety, anger, irritability, and shame. I prioritize creating a warm, non-judgmental space where my clients can increase awareness of their emotional and relational patterns, including how difficulties relate to our larger context and early life experiences. My clients express appreciation for my transparent, collaborative, compassionate, & well-informed approach.

I pull from several evidence-based approaches, including psychodynamic/relational, CBT, mindfulness-based, acceptance-based, and compassion-based therapies. Collaboratively, we will make sense of your difficulties and identify ways to make change, or as is the case in situations that we can’t change, learn to relate to them differently.

I love being a therapist and getting to know my clients. If you are interested in knowing yourself better and being an active collaborator in treatment, please reach out via email to schedule a free phone consultation. I currently offer telehealth in MA, NC, and Psypact participating states. I also will offer in person sessions in the Asheville, NC area.
