As a therapist at Queer Therapy Boston, I offer individual therapy to all humans with a social justice, anti-oppressive, intersectional lens. I am a member of the queer community, and I specialize in working with adults who are LGBTQIA+, transgender, non-binary, gender expansive, poly/non-monogamous, fat, disabled, neurodiverse, and/or chronically ill. I have experience working with folks around depression, grief, anxiety, OCD, trauma, complex trauma, personality disorders, addiction, identity exploration, incarceration, involvement with the justice system, and coping with life's general stress. My clinical approach draws heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with flavor notes of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, feminist therapy, and humor. My style is flexible, open, genuine, and collaborative. If there are certain treatments you do or do not want to use, I will take your lead. You're the expert on you! If you want a therapist that talks to you like a real person, we could be a good fit. Call or send a message to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. Worst case scenario, it's 15 minutes of your life you don't get back. Best case, you found a therapist!
