As a licensed professional counselor in Savannah, I believe that it is vitally important to provide my clients a safe place to promote recovery, growth and personal development. It is also essential to include an environment to share concerns, feelings and address issues that are impacting your life and help you navigate your life through whatever challenges you are facing. I partner with my clients as we explore present day difficulties or past traumas. Through a collaborative process my clients build upon their own inner strengths and resources to create the life they want to live. My professional orientation is based on a client-centered approach. In my practice I help individuals and couples transition through difficult times. I work with individuals, couples and adolescents. I have extensive experience in parenting problems, anxiety, life transitions, grief, addiction, depression, and family of origin. I have recently finished a fellowship in trauma. Through my educational pursuits and my personal experiences I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges that life events can unexpectedly throw at us. These circumstances can knock us off balance in a way that disrupts our lives. I assist individual/ couples move through the unbearable dark side to the other side of light.
