Welcome to Quiet Waters Counseling! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years experience working with individuals and couples weathering the storms of life. For the past 16 years I've been working with veterans and families here in the Columbia MO area. I specialize in assisting clients with issues such as addictions, PTSD, physical and sexual trauma, anxiety and depression. I utilize evidence based therapies coupled with compassion, empathy and encouragement to assist clients in their journey of healing. I am a Christian Counselor with a passion for supporting people on their journey of understanding that God is not out to condemn or judge, however instead, is offering grace and compassion to live a fulfilled life! I will provide a safe space for you to openly discuss your places of hurt in the areas of trauma, relationships, family and religion. If you find yourself struggling with fear, anxiety, shame, depression or other emotional wounds and feel that unresolved issues are keeping you from living a full life, I would be honored to assist you in addressing these concerns. I offer both individual and couples counseling services and I'm currently accepting new clients.
