I am a fully licensed Master Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in MI, HI, and AR. I have experience working in diverse settings, which include mental health, medical, substance abuse, foster care/human services, children, I/DD, adolescents, and adults; as well as family/individual counseling. I have experience working with, and I am very comfortable facilitating groups. All of which has provided me with the knowledge, experience, and skills to be an effective Social Worker; servicing communities, families, and or individuals, with empathy, dignity, respect, and integrity. Therapy is based on individual/family needs. I use a client-centered approach. My theoretic approach is cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, and solution focused. I will provide a safe place for clients to open up and address their concerns. I am not your most conventional therapist. I keep it real and demonstrate effective communication skills Being raised in a highly dysfunctional family, I felt as though I'd always been a Social Worker. I am highly empathetic to those in need and have a strong desire to help improve a person's life and functioning level. I use a client-centered approach enabling the client to develop realistic goals that are sustainable.
