Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
It takes great courage to engage in psychotherapy. I appreciate how intimidating the process of finding and meeting a new therapist can be. I will work with you to establish safety and trust in this therapeutic relationship so that you can learn more about the concerns that trouble you and how to care for them. We will work together to understand the impact of relationships and life events on you. This understanding may then allow you to speak for these experiences in a way that leaves you feeling calmer and more empowered. Using a variety of treatment approaches including Internal Family Systems, Family Systems, Psychodynamic Theory, Mind-Body techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we will devise a way of working that is specific to your needs and comforts. I enjoy working with teenagers, adults, parents and couples. I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including medical and psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment and private practice. I feel honored and privileged to work with my clients on their own personal journeys.
