Dr. Juliann Dorsey is a licensed psychologist with over 16 years of experience. Juliann’s professional career has ranged across a variety of settings including; outpatient therapy, residential treatment facilities, community mental health organizations, also school and home-based programs. Juliann’s passion for client care is evident in each session and is based on the needs each individual client. Her primary approaches include cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, solution focused and strength-based perspectives. She specializes in child, adolescent, couples and family therapy. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and integrates different therapeutic approaches depending on the best fit for the client. My goal is to create a safe environment for self-exploration and discovery. Together we will unpack past experiences and explore unrecognized patterns which may be causing distress and relationship challenges. I believe every person is inherently worthy of love and belonging, however, we hear daily messages that tell us love is conditional, and our worth is measured by something outside of our control. My goal is to help clients remember their worthiness, and live more fulfilling lives. I am gentle, direct, authentic and genuinely care about my clients.
