Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I view therapy as a process of deepening awareness of your experience and patterns in order to access greater authenticity and vitality in your life. I serve as a guide in examining your inner world with curiosity and compassion. This exploration—and the intimacy with yourself that emerges—brings with it the capacity to open more fully to life with its ever-changing realities. I will work with you to expand your understanding of self and the dynamics between self and other, through a relationship based on us working together to know you deeply. With a psychoanalytic orientation, I aim to help bring into focus experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be in the shadows to help you make meaningful changes. I have in-depth experience working with those who hold an array of intersecting identities, including those who are LGBTQ+ identified. My training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy includes a postgraduate fellowship with the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis. I work with both individuals and couples.
