Welcome! My name is Julia I am a LMSW, but I want you to know that what you will find is I am more than a mental health professional. I approach my work in a holistic way. What I personally mean by this is, we can’t just address the mind when healing or working on balancing ourselves. We have to take a look at all that we do, which includes what we eat, how we exercise, our daily habits, what information we consume, and our relationships. With this being said, I provide not only talk therapy, but individual yoga sessions if the client feels this would be beneficial to their healing process. My goal is to provide those who choose to work with me concrete tools and techniques that they can use when they find themselves in a place of uncertainty, discomfort, or uneasiness. My intention is to empower my clients to recognize their innate ability to make the changes they desire; and to rediscover that they hold the answers within themselves already. The journey to wholeness is not a straight line, it's an on going process which began with you being here on this page... taking the first steps to help yourself....I applaud you.
