Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
The journey we are on takes us in all different directions, testing us at every turn. There is help and hope. I have been honored to hear people's stories at various points of their journey; witnessing, observing, supporting, empathizing, listening and reflecting. Through hearing their stories, I have learned how fragile the human condition is, and at the same time, the empowering strengths and resiliency each one intrinsically has in adapting and surviving the difficulties put before them. Ms. Hanna has a wide range of experience with a diverse population with special focus on ethnic diversity, family therapy, and spirituality. Therapy is client centered and strength based. Clinical theories which inform practice include: Jungian psychotherapy, psycho-social/developmental, self-psychology, object relations, and systems theory. Ms. Hanna provides a safe environment for discovery and growth. She works collaboratively with you to identify and resolve the issues that impact your daily living. Her style of therapy is process-oriented and relational. "Therapy is not about 'changing a person', or making them something else, but rather about living with intent."
