I specialize in couples therapy because I think it has the potential to be uniquely transformative. Unlike many other forms of therapy in which we talk about relationships, in couples therapy, the relationship is happening in the room. The desire for change is strong when we risk losing what we treasure most. In this high-stakes, dynamic space, we often feel inspired to take risks that lead to lasting change. I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from various theories and modalities to meet clients’ unique needs. While I specialize in work with LGBTQ+ relationships, I work with relationships of all identities, orientations, and structures. I love working with all kinds of couples: Those who are new to therapy and scared to start, those who have found previous therapy unhelpful and are skeptical about how I can help, those who are ready to work, and those who are reluctant to participate. Whether your relationship is in crisis or just needs some tweaking, please don't hesitate to reach out.
