Josh has experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. He is well versed in grief therapy, PTSD, anxiety and depression, issues pertaining to suicide, issues pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community, somatic interventions for CPTSD, and intersystem work. He is currently a part-time faculty member with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has held other various professorial positions. He has worked on several non-profit boards advancing the access to mental health resources, educating the public on depression and suicide, working for the rights of minorities, and educating the public on issues pertaining to veterans View 5 Photos Josh received a Master’s of Science and an Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling from Harding University. He has received several post-graduate credits in counselor education and supervision. He has received training in grief therapy, trauma, and experiential therapy. He implements somatic and intersystem modalities when needed for CPTSD. He thinks counseling should be inclusive, and he treats the person as a whole. He works with a person’s strengths and resources to increase coping styles and a stronger sense of self. He uses cognitive and mindfulness techniques to help clients become more aware of their thoughts processes and the relationships to those thought processes.
